Walking on Water - an excellent film
Last night we launched our feature documentary 'Walking on Water' at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.
Guests enjoyed a reception in the lovely Brunei Gallery while listening to lively Kikamba music. They also had the opportunity to talk to Joshua Mukusya, our co-founder and expert sand dam builder. There was an excitement and positive atmosphere as guests came to share in the spirit of Excellent Development; a feeling of fun, empowerment, motivation and hope; the exact spirit shown by the communities we work with in Kenya. ‘Walking on Water’ follows film-maker and Excellent supporter Alison Bell as she meets the communities who put the Excellent theory into practice, working hard to transform their environment by building sand dams, terracing land and planting trees. You can buy a copy of the film on DVD from £10.00, which comes with twelve short films covering different aspects of our work. You can also watch the short films online for free, along with a six-minute edit of the feature documentary. Click here to buy the DVD or watch the films online news summary... |
